Proud 1980 Graduate here. Your wife has picked a nice school to teach at.

Hit the lake in early mid March with dark colored light jigs with #11 pork. When you think you are going to slow, slow down some more, you'll catch a few and sometimes a decent fish. The other side is the bomb, some of the guards that take inmate details down there to fish catch some really nice fish.

Hey, I am a '79 graduate from OCHS. I used to fish that lake once in a while. One summer evening before the sun went down I had a huge bass on a Johnson Silver Minnow. After playing that bass, probably only for a few seconds, it jumped and spit out my lure. I can still see it like it was yesterday even though it was more like 30 years ago.

There is definitely fish in there, and im sure there are some big ones. Just like one said, they migrate to the other side and plus its a little hard to fish its banks. ( especially with my baitcaster, i get it in a tree and birdnest :P )

They did put in a new dock, and i always see people catch soooo many fish there, but i never done to great.

I've fished the prison side. It has been along time ago. But it's the difference between night and day.
