I completely agree with your mindset Col...until you start doing the same thing the dimocrat party leaders are doing right now. Hanging labels on people who disagree with you, trying to make them look hateful and stupid.

Totally didn't mean to hang labels. I just think that the extreme hatred of our president to the point that you would not let your children listen to the leader of this country speak - goes against everything our politcal system stands for (so I do see it as borderline Unamerican, and Unpatriotic). Disagree with my views all you want, disagree with the president views all you want. Teach your children your views all you want - that is totally understandable. But to not allow your child to see the president speak because you don't agree with him is not teaching the right message about our political system.

Geo - I will discuss it next week. Whichever way it goes - I don't think our opinion will vary as much as you think. (I hope not, at least). I don't want to see a politically/agenda driven speech to students any more than you do.
