He got elected no doubt but that doesn't mean that I would blindly follow him. Allot of the Libs do....just like allot of Pubs did Bush. I did not and I don't agree with this two party system which is why I stay Independant.
I still maintain he got elected by running a GREAT campaign based on lies but a great speaker can fool allot of people. The country was ready for a change from the GOP who lost their way and left their conservative base behind. I feel he won because allot of people voted against the GOP not for the "fool". Hillary, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Streisand or whoever would have won. Hopefully he is a one and done!
For a Independant you sure say a lot of nasty stuff about the Dems and not so much as a word about the Pubs that I can recall.
I was totally against the bailout that Bush pushed through and even went off on our State Reps. I wasn't happy with McCain as the best candidate from the GOP. I am not happy with any President we have had since the borders are still a major problem. I know I have posted that stuff on here. I wasn't impressed with their spending either.
I am a Conservative and totally against big Gubment and lifelong social programs that just enable people to ride on my shirt tails. This present administration is an atrocity with their criminal cabinet appointments, associations and agenda. So if it seems I can't stand them then I have deftly expressed myself.
So if I don't bash a past administration I'm not qualified to be an Indy? It's the Libs time to run this country and they painted themselves into a corner with all the Bush bashing. Now it's time to judge their performance or lack there of.
When was the last time a Lib has voiced their opinion against what the "fool on the hill" is doing? Do you agree with his cabinet appointments? Do you give him a pass on his past associations? Do you give Pelokeo, frank, dodd and the other fools a pass? Just curious....
