And look at that pic of LOSER_Hardt............Kinda of looks like the OLD people at town hall meetings, don't you think.
Political PANDERING does not belong in the SCHOOLS.........
Col......I'd love to hear your opinion of the material next week, after the presentation. You're right, it might be NOTHING.......but on the other hand, it might be SOMETHING, and something SCARY.......
I know some other teachers in the system.....some are for it, some are against it.
Finally......My take on it is this.........Yea, other presidents have done it....BUT, this president is SO FAR out of TOUCH that it SCARES me.
Thanks,
Geo

Exactly! This is something that's been bugging me about this board lately, seeing people using epithets like this, and then expecting the people they're talking about to respond respectfully. Or maybe they don't expect that, and what they're trying to do is provoke someone, I don't now. But you may as well walk up to someone on the street and say, "Hey Stupid, how ya doing?" and expect to get a handshake in response. It certainly has no place in civil conversation, and as far as I am concerned, you may as well be wearing a button that says, "I am a bigot." bigot –noun a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

Will our president teach the kids the way Hitler did with his wonderful youth movement? Will he teach them how to say Seig Hiel and all of the good things that go along with socialism and communism? Just curious.
With all the things wrong that this "FOOL" is associated with and the Dims playing the race card at every chance and the Dim leaders using names against anyone who does not agree with them you expect respect for the party or the "FOOL" in charge? Get real....
I've never "enjected" my opinion on anyone - (I don't think so - I don't really know what that means) Did you read my post - I never talk politics in the classroom. However, after working in all grade levels, some of you are starting to remind me of my kids in my elementary days on the playground. "If I don't get to be pitcher, I'm not playing." I know it sounds funny, but many of you seem to be echoing that. My guy didn't win, so I want no part of this system.
Not allowing your child to hear the president speak, is just plain stupid. About as mature as comparing an Elected president to Hitler.
Pardon me but I believe your the one who started and is still doing the name calling like elementary kids do on the playground. You obviously can't even control yourself and what you say. But yet accuse others of the same.
I wonder what you say or would say to kids in school behind closed doors......Thats pathetic.
I don't think I ever called anyone anything. I said not letting a child see the president speak is plain stupid. Never called anyone stupid - just would be a stupid decision to make. I also said it was immature to compare the president to Hitler (It is). I can talk rationally about this all day long - YOU are putting words in my mouth. I have had some disagreements on this board plenty of times, but I still like almost everyone on here - no matter how much we disagree - this is a debate right - it would be boring if we all agreed.
HOWEVER, attacking my professionallism is uncalled for and ticks me off to no end. There is no excuse for that, other than you have nothing substantial to say.
Well cry me a river about your "professionalism". Expect more of the same if you attack my Patriotism or my dedication to this country again. Which you have done and that does more than "Tick me off."I don't think I ever called anyone anything. I said not letting a child see the president speak is plain stupid. I go out of my way to avoid calling individuals names on this board. If you see that little play on words as offensive and feel I should be wearing a bigot button for it, you're certainly entitled to your opinion.Exactly! But I get one too. In my opinion you are part of society's obsession with political correctness, and you're always offended about one thing or another.
If objecting to being insulted by being called "dim" amounts to "political correctness," then I'm guilty as charged. I guess what I really am is naive for expecting civility on an internet message board.I go out of my way to avoid calling individuals names on this board.
