Folks, I said on this board during the elections the race card would be played many times. It's basically a tool for many high profile people in this country who get in trouble or really want something. Rangel is in serious trouble, under investigation for tax evasion and multiple ethics violations, so it was a matter of time until he played the white guilt race card. So far he's just testing the waters, only playing the deuce. If the heat continues to rise he or a crony will throw the ace and claim this is just another attack on a humble civil servant because he's black.

Rangel is the chairman of the house Way and Means Committee, and didn't disclose up to $500,000 in cash and some rental properties to the IRS. He's already been caught at it before and was allowed to pay $10,000 in back taxes with no penalties or interest. A pretty sweet deal for getting caught cheating on taxes. (Is there any wonder so many of us are cynical as heck about the government?)

Titchy woman Pelosi is standing behind her man, she has no plans to relieve him of his post as chairman of the senate's committee responsible for taxation, unemployment, social security, etc. More sublimely ridiculous behavior by the dimocrat party.

Obamacare is also in trouble. At least one black politician (with more to follow) has already publicly stated people oppose the President's heath care plan "because he looks like me". She was of course referring to the color of her skin, he's considerably better looking than her.

Get used to the race card. Now that Dim popularity is tanking you'll be getting a steady dose of it from people of color and liberal whites.

A dollar to a donut says the first response to this post by a lib is pointing out the wrongs of some Republican to divert attention rather than address this issue. The recurring theme from liberals: Oh yeah? Well what about when that evil George Bush did blah blah blah, or what about that [fill in the blank] Republican who did blah blah blah? Ever notice liberals are better at finding fault with others than actually dealing with issues at hand?
