    UofL Football

It is going to be a long season for Card fans. I thought they were pathetic. Very undisciplined and sloppy. I don't think they will win another game the rest of the year. It was very painful to watch. You could say ISU is the worst team in college football and UofL struggled in the first half with them and did not look much better in the second.

Kragthorp must Go! He is in over his head.

Yea, I was very disappointed in the excustion but at least the effort seemed to be there.

Burke showed some promise and Victor is a heck of a player.

They will win a few more Ryan, don't give up but I agree KlownThorpe MUST GO IMMEDIATELY IF NOT SOONER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lighten Up, a fella can hope can't he. I have never claimed to be a genius, nor will I ever. There are starting to be some real smartass'es on this site.

I saw a glimmer of hope in that game. The defence looked good, the kickoff return also. The qb was nervous on the long pass, had a man open almost every play and couldnt hit him or didnt look at that option. They got alot of work to do and should have already done it! I think they will be ok but I dont see anyone blowing us out with our defence. Someone predicted 3 wins on here, I say 5 and a KY loss. You just never know until the game is played.

Thanks for the love Cork, there may be hope for me and you yet, lol.

You know in the short pass game Burke looked pretty sharp once he settled in. Victor Anderson is the bomb, the kid has heart and skills. Defense did look pretty good even though they were playing a horrible team.

I was also pleasantly surprised in the Special Team play, we have certainly improved there, had no where to go but up, lol, but still much better. As I said in a prior post last week I realize 6 wins is a major pipe dream and 4 to 5 is probably more likely. But I see no point in being negative and throwing in the towell before thay even get started.

    Go Cards!

Once Burke realizes he has a couple seconds more time to look at all the options he will do fine. He seemed like he had to get rid of the ball fast, not so, the offensive line gave him a ton of time. I noticed he has a heck of a fake handoff too, got me and the video man a few times. The special teams are whats going to keep them in alot of close games. ISU played some fundamental football and U of L knew they would win but when they meet KY they will bring a different team. I predict UK 31 UL 17. It aint no blowout for sure. However the outcome Im still a UofL fan!

I said three wins and after last night, I stand by that prediction. Even worse than I was expecting!

Why are you guys so glum? Admittedly I'm a UK/SEC Fan but I had to work Sat. and missed both UK's and UL's openers.Didn't the Cards win pretty convincingly? I thought they won like 30 -0 or similar,I'd say they will do ok in the Big East, better than you guys think.

Not digging too hard at ya ville fans but think about how your program was a few years ago and look at it now. UK football was in tatters while UL was looking great....A few years can make a big difference huh? Wonder if world wide wes has a brother or friend? He could at least recommend someone.

Wonder if the bball programs are headed down the same path? Food for thought....

As much as I couldn't stand Bobby Petrino as a person, he was one recruiting son of a gun.
He and his brother can flat out coach to, with a wild non predictable offense that at times was a DC worst nightmare.

Enter Steve Klunkthorpe, program goes from a field goal away from playing for a National Title, and he takes it to complete start from scratch mode. Eventually Jurich will see the light and have to put friendship aside to feed the bulldog. Go ahead you guys kick us while you can, The Cards will be back someday, down but not out.

Oh one more thing, I wouldn't look for the basketball team to be shrinking up and blowing away anytime soon, lol.
