Lake Fork is an incredible lake. Any survey that tries to give a number on how many 7+ bass are caught there in any amount of time would have to be way low because a 7 isnt a big deal there at all. Not many would bother to report it. I caught six or seven 7lb+ there in the two 5 day trips Ive made there without a guide or anything (not tooting my own horn, my point is about the quality of the fishery). And with the pressure turning to falcon, choke, and amistad, Fork will improve some.

Its just amazing to see a thousand boats in a little creek, bumper to bumper and everybody catching bass.

But Like Dave said, you cant really compare a big bass at fork to one at Kentucky Lake. I feel much better about catching a 7lb plus here than I do at Fork. To do that here consistently it takes doing a lot of homework and putting in a lot of hours.
