    Some Elwood Observations

I have been observing Elwood when he comes to visit us here in the hospital and this is what I have observed.

He keeps his wooden "butt-whacker" by his bedside, and if anyone attempts to change his fishing channels, he reaches for his "butt-whacker."

One morning I came to see him and as I approached his room, I noticed a Rattle-Trap attached to some fluorocarbon in the hallway coming from beneth his door. The nurses said he had been trolling all morning.

One nurse said one night she had observed Elwood "fish-walking" with tears running down his cheeks and was mumbling something like "How did I let 10 pounder get off!"

And I shouldn't say this but he looks real cut when he wears those "Smallmouth Houseshoes" around the hospital.

Just curious as to whether or not the "butt whacker" serves double duty as a boat paddle? If so, man I bet that stings.
