Shimano Crucial Crankbait rods -- 6'6M or 7'0MH. Very sensitive rods made from composite construction. They retail for $150, but you can probably find them cheaper than that with an internet search.![]()

Im looking to get a crankbait rod but I dont want to spend alot of money though. Just wondering if any of you guys have used the David Fritts crankin rod by American Rodsmiths. The one that sells for $90 not the the $200 titanium rod. Is it heavy? Sensitive? Any info would help. If you have any suggestions on another crankbait rod that is reasonably priced (no more than $150) feel free to share with me. Thanks.

Im surprised nobody has really responded to my post about this. I could use a little help in choosing a crankbait rod as I have never bought a rod strictly for cranking. If nobody knows about the David Fritts Crankin Rod how about the KVD Tour Crankin Rod? Pleae any help is very much appreciated
I have two of the American Rodsmith in 7ft. I got the medium heavy and i like them. Medium was to light of action to suit me. BPS puts them on sale once in a while
I have the David Fritts Crankin rod and love it....The less expensive rod is a bit heavier but I have three sizes and all three of them are really sensitive and havesuper feel...I have the 6'6", 7'0", and 7'11"...The larger models have real good action and allow your to use smaller diameter line and throw a bait a mile....I throw a lot of crankbaits and have think you will really like them for the quality and price.

I own three of the Fritts AR rods and love them. I have two 7.0' and 1-6'6". The oldest is about 5 years old and still in great shape. I have Loomis, Crucial, etc, but for the money, I would buy another Fritts tomorrow.
The BPS Crankin' Stick is an excellent carnkin' rod for the money...I feel that if you buy it you will not be dissappointed.
