The last time I was at the lower Ohio by the hydros, by fishing partner was on anchor duty.

When we pulled up the anchor for last time, up came a piece of iron rod with rope and line snagged on it.

We kept it in the boat so as not to pollute the river nor endanger other boaters.

I did manage to salvage two 3oz bank sinkers, 1 barrel swivel, 1 3-way swivel, and a white stick bait that lost it's hooks out of that tangled mess.
