Wanted to share this with you all.
I have been using a product called V-T2 Livewell Ventilators since April. I've noticed a considerable difference in the health of my fish in the livewell. I hate to see a fish die on me in a tournament or anytime. Glad to find a product that is inexpensive, yet keeps my catch alive.
I really found out how well these work on my recent trip to Barkley Lake over Labor day weekend.
I caught some nice fish on Friday morning fishing by myself between 3-4am. I tried to take some pictures of them at first light. But, my camera broke during the process. So, I held the four fish in the livewell planning on getting some pictures taken when a friend of mine was to meet me Friday afternoon.
But, my friend came up ill and couldn't make it. I had another friend that was to come down on Saturday afternoon. So, I again kept the fish until he showed up on Saturday at 7pm.
During all this time, I left the livewells running, added some Rejuvenade and checked on the fish every two hours or so. Everytime I checked on them they were so healthy that they would just about jump out of the livewell.
When my friend showed up Saturday at 7pm I had him take the pictures of the fish for me. He asked me "Did you just catch these?" I laughed and said “you won't believe it, but I caught these Friday morning” The fish were very lively and seemed as though they had just been caught. I released them they swam away with haste.
You can buy these at Day's Boat Sales in Frankfort, or the company's site www.keepingbassalive.com for $44.99.
