My best day on the water was last Sunday at Nolin. We had a small company bass tournament Saturday was an 11 hour day and Sunday was 5. We went down early Friday and fished with about 40 fish caught with only maybe 2 keepers. Saturday was totally different we boated maybe 10 fish all day with 2 slots and that's all. At the end of the day we were next to last place. That evening we discussed changing tactics because of the dismal day we had. For some reason we decided to stay with what had been working except for that day. Sunday morning we take off and stop at a spot and I boat a keeper within 10 minutes a few dinks later we move. Next spot my buddy lands another keeper a few short fish later we move again. The next spot we hit we fish every time we go down and have never seen another boat on. We land 4 more keepers and some short fish. We push our luck on time and head in. We make it to weigh in with no time to spare. Weigh in our bag for a little over 12 pounds. It wasn't the heaviest bag nor the most fish we had ever caught but it was something to remember. Mainly do to the fact we caught so many fish Friday and hardly any on Saturday. Also we were on a spot Saturday and Sunday and the same pontoon pulled within 25 feet of us and dropped anchor. The funny thing is on Sunday one jerk says to the other "you've got to love bass fisherman" to this I say you are darn right I do.
