Fished the Missouri River today in Montana....WOW. The mountains are beautiful, but the fish were not so friendly. Fly fished my butt off, but apparently I stink at it...so what did I do...I told the guide I brought a spin caster and I put a super duper on the line and BAM...fish on. The guide was appalled, but after my third fish he asked me where I got that little lure.

Wet waded the whole day and never was cold. Water temp was 62 and the air temp was 90...but I never broke a sweat because it was 30% humidity. Great day.

Still think the CR is the best river to fish for trout ever.

Going to a blue ribbon trout stream tomorrow in Lewistown and hope I have better luck.
