    More rain

We just received 5.5 inches of rain here in Greenville. I guess this will cause the lower Ohio to increase it's level which is good.

9.6 on the lower is a little too skinny for me to fish by the hydros.

Here's one for you boys to ponder. You know this year above all others I can never remember more flooding type rainfalls ever. If this pattern continues and it certainly looks like it's going to, what happens when it starts getting cold? Ouch, think on that one awhile, Shoooooooooooooooooooooo!

I don't ever remember a year like this with so many flooding rains. Bud Sheirdan with MSD had got more air time this year than Michael Jackson.

We needed a little rain, but Good Lord it seems you can't get it unless it's a typhoon.

I wish I would have mowed the grass before these rains! Maybe I'll catch a break...

I wished you would have come over and mowed my yard too!

Yes this weather is whacked...actually I welcomed the rain on Sunday morning since things were started to get dry...but by Sunday afternoon I was wanting it to stop. Ain't no tellin' what kind of winter weather we're in for...it could be a doozey!

I guess it's about time for me and Mrs. Tyme to stock up on some canned goods and powdered milk, etc for when we get snowed in, or should I say snowed under.

But maybe I should be like everyone else and race to the grocery store when the weather man predicts 0.5 inches of snow. Got to have that milk, bread, and toilet paper!!!!

I wish the rain would have hit us during our ATV trip to cut down on the dust and make more mud!

See my reply to your Photo thread about ATV rides. Hope that gives you some ideas. lol Some landowners don't want ATVs on their property but you should be able to find some good places out in the 'boondocks.'

    Re: More rain

Back from Guntersville. I've been wet and dry so many times the last few days I shrunk 3 inches. My boat and everything in it is waterlogged. Thank God for bilge pumps...and plastic frogs.

My son fished our club tournament with another guy and took him to a spot I found Friday. The spot had some active fish, we'd had several heart stopping blow ups and 3 nice chunks before leaving it to head up to Mud Creek. Anyway, he tosses a Ribbet and got his limit in an hour. Said they were smashing into his frog so hard it was scary.

He and his partner finished 3rd, his ole man and partner finished 6th. Got spanked by the boy on his first trip to the big G and was tickled about it. I was very proud of him, but now he's hooked on something way more expensive than crack. Bass fishing at Guntersville.
