No problem launching at Halcombs. Just be mindful of where the ramp ends, so as not to drop off the end. Ramp is marked with a yellow strip and a sign which tells you how many feet of ramp you have. There are some large bolders off the end of the ramp, but they should not be a problem unless the water level is really low.
Just to be on the safe side, I always raise my motor once I tie up to the ramp, just in case the wind blows the stern of the boat near the shoreline rocks, while I take that GREAT HIKE up to hill to get the trailer.![]()
