KVD on Mike and Mike on ESPN this morning

KVD was on Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN2 this morning. As always he presented himself well and yes the words SEXY SHAD was mentioned. He is a Detroit Tiger Baseball fan and a New England Patriot football fan (said it was too hard to be a Detroit Lions football fan which is understandable). Seemed to know a lot about baseball and his Tigers. Said on his vacation he takes his 12 yr old twin boys FISHING. This man loves to flat out fish and said he would do it EVERY day if he could. I don't know of any other athlete that does his job on his days off. Even Tiger Woods takes weeks off from the course and does not pick up a club. Truly a class act and certainly an excellent role model for any young person wanting to get into fishing. I wish every day that my dad got me in fishing when I was a kid instead of me doing it on my own at the ripe old age of 36. Seems that I missed out on 30 plus years of something that I am passionate about.

For all of you that will be catching instead of watching this Sunday set your DVR for on ESPN2 from 4-7pm they will do a year in review show on the Angler of the Year race. You will have to record 3 seperate 1 hour shows by the way so you don't record just the 4pm show for you will miss the last 2 hours.
