Okay, happy to oblige. You really should ask your wife how to spell "preffered" and "proffesion." I didn't recommend that your in-house teacher proofread everything you typed on the computer.......just this thread.

Thanks for the good advice, I'll be happy to cuddle my 6 ft., 205 pound "Cat." Meeeeeeeeeow! You would have a major stroke if you saw our "cuddle time".....I don't snore or lie there wondering if there are 12 beers in a six-pack.

Look around and see if you can see a fire hydrant or a tree because you're about to need one to hike your leg on when I ask you this.

Why don't you change your board name to SANDPAPER? You see to rub everyone the wrong way lately. Why have you changed so much?

Sandpaper, naw I will stick to my original name. I will also apoligise if I offended you. Feel free to correct my spellin any time, only way im gonna get better. By the way check your last paragraph. Friends always, slippedcork.

Nah! Hun, he doesn't have a feminine side. He is one dyn-o-mite hunk of a man. With all this estrogen and PMS, you wouldn't be thinking Bassin_Bug is a man, would you?

If I ever find a 6-ft, 205-pound woman, would you like me to send her to you? I won't mind checking to see if her legs and chest are hairy enough. ~(:<) Shipment would be by truck or rail; you pay for the crate and shipping charges.

FYI, teaching is a profession, not a trade.
Correcting grammar on a message board is bad form. Typically, the person correcting usually makes a grammar mistake or two in their own post. That's all I'm sayin'....

I didn't correct grammar, I mentioned SPELLING and the guy asked which words, so I told him. ****! I wish he had asked YOU. If you are talking about the way I spelled 'sandpaper,' that IS the correct way and it is not hyphenated nor two separate words. If it had been, it still would have been acceptable because it was only recommended as a board name, something like "Slippedcork."

While we're discussing grammar, is it "bad form" or bad manners? Is it "grammar mistake" or grammatical error?

I shore does thank you for the lesson in bad form manners; I know it ain't easy on you having to learn a lady. My grammar seems a tad under the ropes but y'all know how I meant it. You done gone and went an done worse than what you showed me. THIS IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF A "BAD GRAMMAR" MISTAKE.

Interpretation: If it's bad manners to correct another person's spelling/grammar on the message board, what have you just done?

Hmmm...I didn't correct your grammar or spelling, so this question leaves me confused. I gave an opinion on whether I think it's a good idea to do so.

Confused? Yes! I only mentioned a couple of incorrectly spelled words. You, on the other hand pointed out that I pointed out. So I just pointed out YOUR own bad manners.

Think about it and get back with me, in about TEN years, and we'll discuss it again.

    Re: Honest input wanted

The reason I was let go was their were budget cuts and 3 teachers that had their rank 2 were cut and 3 teachers were hired that had teachers certificates and the small school district could save money by hiring them. This year those 3 teachers were let go and 3 long term subs were hired in their place. I appreciate the advice and just keep on pluggin'. It just gets frustrating.
