Not sure if you are fishing this weekend or next...but no matter. Been over 3 weeks since I went out, but plan on going tomorrow (Sunday). Will be fishing main lake, near mouth of creeks. Don't believe fish are up in creeks yet. I expect to find fish at 30 feet or less. Plan is to pull planner boards with live bait (shiners) and maybe put out a couple of downriggers, ~ 30 feet. May mix it up a bit on the downrigger; hair jig, swimbait, etc.
Also, keep a casting rod handy with a surface lure tied on (spook, etc.) Good chance you may find stripers busting shad on the surface.

Good Fishing to You![]()
Fished Thursday. Main lake flats less than 30 ft deep. The fish are very aggressive right now.
Fished yesterday (Sunday) most fish were in 42' of water and fish at 30-32'. Some fish a little deeper, but more in 42' of water. A few surface pops but not a bunch, just one fish at a time no schools.
Fished Saturday the 26th in Lilly Creek, just past the first right hand bend and just before the second left hand bend coming from the main lake. Multiple blow ups at about 8-9 a.m. Caught two casting a Hopkins spoon on surface action.
Sunday morning, caught one on shiner freeline near island at the mouth of Greasy Creek, just past the longest no-wake zone in the continental U.S.
Good luck.
