Anyone been to Patoka lately?

I have had a great year on Patoka this year which includes a 8#LM and 3 SM from 5-6#.

i was up there this past weekend and worked the backs of creeks and pockets the entire time. i didn't even think about the main lake. the bite was slow for me but i managed a decent limit (around 10 lbs). i found a big school of crappie and bass feeding on shad that were working their way to the back of a cove, which salvaged my day. been rough for me the past 2 weeks up there. surely with this cooler weather they will be heading up to those pockets quickly to gorge.

surface temps were 74-75

My 1ST day ever on Patoka was yesterday...not bad....but not great. 11-12 LMB total with three keepers going maybe 8 1/2 lbs. Water temps started out at 69 ish and moved to about 73 ish at the end of the day. Anyone else doing better with the cold weather moving in recently???
