Just a few hours left and I just wanted to thank everyone that responded. Thank you for all the kind and truthful words. You guys set a great example for me, and I'm sure I will be using the advice in the upcoming years. Once again, thank you for the input.

9:21 pm and Shimano4Life is HONEYMONING away. Here is to hoping is was the best day of both your brides and your life. Before you know it 10 years will have passed and there will be a couple of kids running around, then 25 has passed and those same kids that were stepping on your toes when they were little are now stepping on your heart with the decisions they are making in their lives. Then 50 years has passed and those same kids will be responsible adults who turned out better than you ever imagined, but thru it all you need to remember one very important thing, it took BOTH OF YOU. Remember it is 110% / 110% and if you BOTH remember that you will be fine. You can't be afraid of washing the dishes, running the sweeper, doing the laundry and she can't be afraid of mowing the grass or helping you clean out the gutters. One thing I can say is that my wife has never complained about something that is usually a "man's" responsibility and I have never complained about something that is usually a "woman's" responsibility. In a good solid marriage there is "nobody's" responsibility for it all needs to be done and as long as both of your are healthy enough to do it, both of you should do it.

PS - she still won't let me do the laundry but I will let you in on a little secret about that. Take her FAVORITE sweater the first couple of weeks of marriage and wash it in HOT and DRY it for about 3 cycles or take every piece of garmet, towel, shirt, underwear, socks, jeans and put them in on HOT with a nice RED sock and she will never ask you to do laundry again. She will keep it caught up for the FEAR of you ever touching it again. Make sure you can buy that FAVORITE sweater, a dozen roses, a box of chocolates and know her favorite restaurant you can take her to make up for the sweater "accident".

I was married 15 years and my ex cheated on me. It wasn't my fault but there were things that I could have done better. Nuts is right , dont go to bed mad, I love you goes along ways too. Go out atleast 1 time a month Alone, no kids or friends. She will be your partner, not a friend, there is a difference. things will change, routine will get old but work out anything that comes along. good luck and remember that you are making a promise to her, her family, your family but more important to God, listen to the vows real good and honor them.
