    How to Eliminate Water Class

I received a lot of inquiries from folks here asking if I would be offering this class again this winter over the past few months...I told you I would let you know. I will be offering this class again this winter and am now taking reservations. You can find the particulars for this class in my weekly fishing report on the Ky Lake Reports page.

Re: How to Eliminate Water Class

Anyone wanting to learn how to eliminate water not only on Ky Lake or Barkley but any other body of water would be well advised to take this class. Dave is an outstanding teacher of following the shad, which in turn follows the Bass and I had this class in a non-formal setting during a guide trip a couple of years ago and use what I learned EACH AND EVERY TIME I AM ON THE WATER. I know for a fact that I am a better fisherman and know for a fact that it would have taken years of trial and error on my own part and I still would not know today what I have learned from Dave in particularly this class. I am able to sit at home a day before leaving for my trip and just by getting water temps, clarity, time of year, wind conditions and weather conditions, plus if they are pulling any current and can make a starting plan of attack before I wet my first line. Obviously, this is just a starting point but you can bet that it will only take minor adjustments from there to dial in on the fish and do what we all like to do, CATCH FISH. One of Dave's sayings is "would you rather fish where 90% of the fish are or 10% of the fish" and the obvious answer is the 90% and this class will teach you where to find the 90%. If you can take the class it is well worth the time and money and you will benefit from it every time on the water.

Sounds like a good x-mas present to myself. Who would have thought I would ask for classroom time for a x-mas gift.
