    Re: AM Scrounger heads

I live in Lawrenceburg about 1 mile from their shop. These things are hands down one of the best baits ive ever picked up. Ive caught everything from catfish to walleye to smallies on these things. I do very well at Dale Hollow for smallies and use them quite often striper fishing on Cumberland. The folks that make them are wonderful people and a pleasure to talk to.

I gave a couple to a guy from Maysville that fishes Cave Run quite a bit. 3 weeks later he made a trip up here to get more. He came back into my restaurant just raving about the bait. He said he had caught the 3 biggest muskie in his life since using them.

The people making them grew up with AM and I think they are cousins. Either way AM been usin them for years. I can get you some contact info if you need it. They will sell to you right out of the facility.

Lucky Strike does now own the rights to the baits but Josh and his Dad are still making them. The Lucky Strike deal will just put them in more places and they will be eaiser to get. Like others have said a fluke works great as a trailer I have used every sive fluke they make just depending on the baitfish.

I prefer the 1/4 oz, Medium Bill with the 3/0 tipped with the "Z-Man" type fluke because of the elaztek rubber, it is much softer - yet more durable than the flukes. This is a killer bait around the busting fish!!!! Went from "well I'll try it" to My top bait right now!!!!
