    Throw crankbaits at the mouths of the creeks. I'd fish every one from Arnolds to the dam and back. Keep hopping around until you find a school of spots. Once you get your limit I'd go to the creeks and try for a kicker. A 2 pounder instead of a 14 oz. Water temp should be good but the mud may prevent success.

    Both quality answers to your question IMO. They forgot to mention to bring a flask and a radio to listen to a football game while you cast

    Sounds like you are preparing for the regional. I will be there as well but have not had a chance to fish for a while. Gong to do some prefishing a couple days before and hopefully find em, good luck to ya.
