I'm going to KY to fly fish for trout for a few days before a tournament on KY Lake next weekend. Where is my best bet to go for some decent sized browns and holdover rainbows? I'll be camping so somewhere close to a campground would be nice. It looks like the Cumberland might be too high and fast next week. I was going to try Ft. Campbell but it's deer season and they don't want me out there tying to fish with deer hunters roaming around. It's been a while since I've fly fished and I'm really pumped and don't want to go somewhere where I'll be disappointed. I would prefer somewhere in the middle or western part of KY. Someone had suggested Trammel Fork but I'd like to find somewhere that has at least 3 or 4 miles of trout fishing instead of just 1.
