mhall,

Actually, seeing what is going on in space very well may be our road to salvation. Did you know, on a recent Science or History Channel show, a spectorgraphical picture of the moon was shown. The results was a huge, and I mean very huge, area of titanium was found at the surface. This would be worth a fortune if it was mineable. Right now, we don't have the technology to do this and it be profitable, but as we continue to consume our own natural resources here on the earth, it is easily fathomable that we will have to look to other sources for our materials.

As for our government's negative ballance sheet... LMAO... I have to laugh or else I cry. I remember Obama having a huge speech calling out all Americans for having such high debt, in particular credit card debt. He said "we all" had to learn to live within our means. Yet it was just announced a day or so ago that our national debt just reached 1.4 Trillion... yes, with a "T"... dollars. The reporters said that was more than 3 times our previous record. That means previously our record was over 400 Billion. So where do Americans learn to spend more than they earn?? Obviously from their leaders. Of course the leaders decry the "instant gratification" and the debt occurred from that, but they can't resist it themselves. Hypocrits is the word I think best describes that behavior.

Fish on...
