i am about to go insane.... i have been so busy training and working for the last 3 weeks i havent been able to get on the water.... about as close to the water that i have been in the last 3 weeks is when i drive across the clays ferry bridge every morning...... i am going to take a youth i mentor hunting this weekend on the youth hunt and next week is muzzleloader so i will be hunting then tooo..... looks like for the first time in as long as i can remember i aint going to be able to hit the water.... my best guess is going to be 5 weeks..... but at least i will get to hang wiht my dad during muzzle loader so i guess its all good..... but i wanna fire up that merc and work a jig so bad i can almost hear the waves slapping up on the side of the boat.... shew its a killling me.... i think i have to many addictions between hunting and fishing.... but its hard to manage time whenever there is only so much time for deer season.....

See you in the boat again, maybe we can hit Laurel on a better day than last time. Don't want to see you in your current job while you are on duty for that would mean I fought the law and the law won, no problem seeing you when you are Game Warden as long as you don't ticket me for keeping my life jackets in storage and not readily accessable. Not sure if this is a fine or not but somebody once told me that all life jackets had to be readily accessible in order to be legal and in a rod locker is against the law. Maybe if I keep the lid open at all times then they would be accessable, I guess. See you at Dale, hope you can make it to the get together because I know you love to smallmouth fish as Dale. We have some spots left in the big cabin for last minute arrivals due to work schedules so we will find you a bed somewhere in the cabins. I have a sleeper sofa in my cabin that will be open if needed, or you can bunk with 3sons or Bonefish in their bedrooms because your not sleeping with me in my BR, but you will have to ask them on that one.
sounds like a plan to me i got 4 more weeks of training left before i will know my days off and what shift i will be on right now its mon thru fri but that will change when i get down stairs... but next time we hit up a lake i can bet it will have to be during the week..... if i can make it i sure will down there to the dale get together......See you in the boat again, maybe we can hit Laurel on a better day than last time. Man oh man...wouldn't it be great to catch one of these fools in the act!!? Then we would get our chance to see what a fool looks like with the lights shining on him instead of the deer, lol...
I am not working and will not be until late 2010 if then so during the week is fine with me, just give me a call a couple of days in advance and I can get my mother in law to watch my son that day after school. As far as the get together, love to have you and I am pretty sure we can find you a bed at the last minute if needed. So far we have 6 people that are scheduled in the big cabin and it will sleep up to 10. I know Thomas will work with us at Horse Creek because they have been so supportive of this site and all of us fishermen in the past, but he would like to have 8 min to rent the big cabin at $25 per man per night. Even if the big cabin is full, I have a 3BR cabin for 3sons, Bonefish and myself plus there is a sleeper sofa that is available if needed for anyone. Glad you got a job in todays economy and know how much you wanted the F and W job, hopefully you will either enjoy this one and have a career or get on with Fish and Wildlife.
