I have two stands on 70 acres in morgan county and one is on a big oak flat on top of a steep ridge and there are not nearly as many oaks on the floor as I thought there should be. I however did see that the ground was tore up from turkey and deer so maybe the deer are just pigging out this year and eating them as soon as they fall. Another farm I hunt in Sadieville has a very good nut crop this year. All depends on where you are I guess.
