Now what do you think about this?

I agree but man I feel like these guys will stop at nothing. Seems like all we hear about is how this administration who promised to help the working man is always trying to get something from us. Gotta keep the guard up.
That's why everybody needs to stick together and clean these idiots out of Washington before we are turned into a Communist country.
I'm absolutely not in favor of gun control, but I think the 2nd Amendment became useless a long time ago.....about the time the government got big bombs, missiles, tanks, etc. You know - all the things they won't let us have. Our small arms aren't going to do much against the weapons that are out there now.
Back when it was passed, a citizen could basically own weapons fairly equivalent to what the government had. Not so much anymore.
Yea,well as long as I'm armed, they may get me,but I'm gonna take a few of them with me.I'm absolutely not in favor of gun control, but I think the 2nd Amendment became useless a long time ago.....about the time the government got big bombs, missiles, tanks, etc. You know - all the things they won't let us have. When the 2nd Amendment was ratified, I believe the average person didn't own a schooner, or a cannon, or some other military weapons.I'm absolutely not in favor of gun control, but I think the 2nd Amendment became useless a long time ago.....about the time the government got big bombs, missiles, tanks, etc. You know - all the things they won't let us have. The 2nd Amendment is STILL just as meaningful today as it was then. The RIGHT to bear arms.......
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"
Now I do agree that militias really don't exist any longer, but that does not change the meaning of the amendment. It does not state when a militia is no longer necessary, your rights no longer exist.
And You could also infer that "free State" means just that......free states....and if that is the case, the they might be referring to Militias and National Guard, which are probably close.......
I don't know, and I'm kinda being nitpicky here, but the 2nd Amendment seems pretty clear to me.
Later,
Geo

Tell that to the North Korean Army. And the North Vietnamese Army. And the Afghani army vs. the USSR.
You must have gun control If you do not you will miss your target.![]()
