haha now that is too funny. George will love it! Actually he will probably put it out on his back fence and use it for target practice.

Re: Going Fishing with Geofisher in the morning!

The fishing wasn't as good as we had hoped. The weather was a little nasty. I caught about 1 fish to every 10 of Geo's. I am extremely rusty from the extended break from fishing, but Geo can flat out fish! We boated somewhere between 20-30 (mostly Small). Embrey (from the board here) caught a the biggest. I forget the weight, not a Ky/Barkley monster, but a very nice, fat largemouth to say the least.

Aside from the poor fishing, it was a great day - made some new friends, and got a chance to get out on the water. Looking forward to our next outing.

FYI - Almost no political talk, and the little that was discussed, we pretty much see eye-to-eye on.

Cork I'll be happy to take you. I like to fish the Green River in Mammoth Cave National Park. I can take you out on the Green where a person can go and never see anyone all day. Nice and peaceful!

However, I have a list I am putting together of the most liberal ideas that I can think of, just to bring up when he starts slaying them, and I am getting skunked. As much as Geo is on the water, I may need to have some distractions up my sleeve. Totally kidding. I don't think the fish care too much about our politcal affiliation- and I would rather talk fishing than politics any day. I am looking forward to a great day on the water with a fellow fishin.com(er), and hopefully making some new friends. I can't tell you all how excited I am about this.

I will give a full report tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks again George for taking me out for the first time in what seems like forever.

    What a great site.
    Hey......you're WELCOME........

I've always said it..........I usually leave the GARBAGE at home.....No place for wasting time on the water with it.

In reality, we talked a little politics but not too much.

With regards to fishin.......it was a little tough, and the wind got up a little Friday, and man, we got more than a little wet...........and Col, I really wasn't turning into those 2 foot waves, breaking over the side just to cool you off .

Whenever you want to go again...........

    Later,

    Geo

You guys have fun, I wish I had Geo's money, he goes to long distance fishing excursions more than anybody on this site. Hell. he must get 9 weeks of vacation a year, it's good to be Geo, lol.
Like DH said be careful with that rod tilt and comments he may go OJ.
****........you guys must really think I'm loaded or something.........

Actually, I've done NONE of the good things in life, and live pretty much a NO CREDIT life....

My wife and I try hard to live within our budget, and when I want something, I save to get it.........

With that being said, I'm lucky to be in a job with lots of flexibility with regards to my time. I work a TON of late hours, and can turn some of those HORRIBLE 3-4 am nights into comp time to fish..........

AND I really did think about dumping ole Col somewhere on Barkley, but there are NO holes deep enough for A LIBERAL on Barkley .

Ah..............it's SOOOOOOO good to be back online.

    Later,

    Geo
