What triggers the sauger to move up river and turn the bite on, water temperature or what????

they start their run when it hits 65 then they really turn on when its 55 and below the temp in the water is at its prime when it hits 48 to 50

They started stocking sauger in the Ky several years ago. We've gotten some really nice ones up around the dams. Hybrids should be moving back to the dams soon too!
