hey guys....i fished ky sat and sunday morning with my friend mattbay and another friend. they were in the front and i was in the back. this was our first trip ever to ky lake. we put in at ky dam village and fished around there. i only managed a 10lb drum on sunday morning caught on a thin N. matt bay got 9 greenies and a stripe on sat. about 3-4 keepers. the other guy caught 5 lgmouth sat also. no keepers. caught 3-4 LM on sunday morn. water temp was 59 -60 degrees on main lake and 3-5 degree cooler in back of the bays. huge schools of shad everywhere. all fish on sat caught in late afternoon after a brief shower. all were caught on DT-6,manns thin N and series 3 sexy shad.

mattbay caught a 20+ inch fish on sat that looked like a giant shad. i never thought they could grow that large. could that be right? it wasn't a drum.
