Asked the same question yesterday. Was there this morning until 2PM and caught 8 total with all but one over 12 inches. Water was 57-59 degrees and the bigger fish we caught were shallow-in less than 4 feet but wouldn't hit on top. We caught an 18" and a 19" one in weeds on a senko and the 19" on a crank by a stump. Kind of slow but there were plenty of boats out there with a lot of people crappie fishing (?). Best thing that happened was the 18" was caught right behind a boat that cut in front of us in water they already fished and were still only 20 feet away. Sweet revenge for people that don't have ANY courtesy. Hope you had a better day!

Sounds like a good day for you...the senko is a great way to fish those hydrilla points. We've been on wtrmln/blk with red flake. What color did you throw?

The 18" was caught on a pumpkin with green and black flake texas rigged after the boat in front was using the watermelon colored ones I switched to something brighter just to see what would happen.

the guys in front had their rigged wacky, I changed mine to Texas when I saw that along with the color. I prefer wacky!
