Thanks Bill. What if the guy shows up at the ramp with no rods, and then announces "oh, by the way, I have to be back in 3 hours to watch the UK game"?

Not quizing ya, just feeling other people out to see how they handle this kinda thing.

I would leave him at the boat ramp. When people go out with me to fish for fun they are a guest. Guests get treated with respect but they fish for as long as I fish. And you let them know how long you plan on being out. If they can go for that time then they are welcome. If they need to be back after 3 hours to watch a ballgame they shouldn't go at all.
