When we had Moose1 and PL on here jousting about politics I loved it. These guys were die hard Liberals and really dug their heels in on their opinions.

This was before they took some things so personal that they dropped some nasty posts and it got them banned but I loved the banter. It was fun to see how they got their feathers ruffled and to see how they did it as well.

Glad I experienced it.

I have no idea who you are PL, apparently some of the guys here know you so I guess you've been around here awhile. Anyway I think I speak for the majority of white men in this country when I say we don't have a problem with a "black man" being in the white house. However, what we DO have a problem with is the inexperienced person (Nobama) who happened to get the majority of the votes.

Color don't make the man, actions do!...and so far judging from the actions I've seen out of Nobama thus far, yea you're right, I have a problem with it.

How do you go about putting someone on your ignore list?

I didn't know how it worked, but I can tell ya how to get on one. Just stand up for yourself when someone tries to talk down to ya. Never had a problem with ideas that run contrary to mine, and really do benefit and enjoy seeing the other person's points of view. I just never stand still for veiled threats, insinuations, or folks that try to belittle. And yep, I do have a bad tendency to retaliate in kind. Guess that fits the old, "Don't like it, don't dish it out". "Bullets beget bullets, respect begets respect". And ya, I admit I get out of hand and off the wall sometimes. Oh well, life goes on and remains amusing.

I could never put anyone on an Ignore List. I am just too curious and would feel that I am missing something of interest that I could learn from or something cute and funny that would make me smile and chuckle and brighten my day. I have learnt so much from all you folks here and the laughs are great too.

Now that is the truth don......but with all the republican crybabies/whinners on this board that we whipped up on last time just how long do you think it would take for one or more of them to hit the panic button and try to get the moderators to do to us what they couldn't do themselves?

Actually we are very busy. The Healthcare market is going strong and the design build business is really picking up. Our service department is always busy since we are in life safety.
Good luck with the job the economy can only sputter for so long! Ditto on the beers I'll hit a few this weekend for us both as I'm playing in the rain!
