I didn't know how it worked, but I can tell ya how to get on one. Just stand up for yourself when someone tries to talk down to ya. Never had a problem with ideas that run contrary to mine, and really do benefit and enjoy seeing the other person's points of view. I just never stand still for veiled threats, insinuations, or folks that try to belittle. And yep, I do have a bad tendency to retaliate in kind. Guess that fits the old, "Don't like it, don't dish it out". "Bullets beget bullets, respect begets respect". And ya, I admit I get out of hand and off the wall sometimes.
