Well I wish I had better sucess this past weekend, but unfortuantly the fishing was slow at best. Friday was a travel day , but we did fish the afternoon and only one fish was caught. Saturday only two fish where caught and Sunday only one fish was caught. We fished up in Beaver and at the mouth of Beaver. I believe the bad weather was to blame for the poor success. Catching bait was also tough, but we did manage to catch enough bait for three boats, we also brought some gizzard shad. The fish we caught were basically on surface with lines set at 22 ft. We either used flat lines or lines with a small 1/8 oz weight. I hope the fishing improves, but it was still enjoyable to be back on the lake.
