I have been talking to a number of guys who work on leaky boats, and it seems like there is a consensus a product called Gluvit is used more than most other options. It is a clear epoxy water sealant that can be painted on the bottom and has a 1 to 2 hour drying time.

I've used the rods in the video you have..........THEY are pretty good, but are hard to work with inverted......

If you'd like some, I have a few left, and I can send you 1 or 2.......

Like I said.....they are REALLY GOOD, and work as described, but are hard to use if you have to do any work above level.

    Later,

    Geo

Thanks, Geo. I think I will try the Gluvit on the three rivets that are leaking right now, and then I will consider the rods. I want to go fishing tomorrow so I plan work on them in the morning and see how good this stuff is. I appreciate the offer and will get back with you.

I've had great experience with Gluvit, so I don't know about the solid rods... I know with the gluvit it fills in all depressions in the hull and around the rivets.
