Bummed out.........Cancelling my KY trip this weekend.

Good to see you've got your priorities set right ... didn't take too long to change your mind and tap that EFF (Emergency Fishing Fund) !!

Fellas, you must not know George very well. EFF may be Emergency Fishing Fund for most of us but to George it is ENDELLESS FISHING FUND. Don't let George fool you. His wife lets him go whenever he wants for as long as he wants to whichever lake he wants. Heck if I was married to him, I would beg him to leave for long periods of time as well.

Those 4 and 5 pounders you caught around here made me think I might be missing something........besides a few screws......

and Elwood......my wife actually does LIKE me to be gone......she can tell when I'm not fishing and she says I get kinda Cranky.......

I used to go 2-3 nights a week locally, and now I've pretty much shut all that down to fish KY and Dale.........doing those trips are quite a bit more expensive, so when I miss one, I *****........

glad I could figure out how to get out this time.......

Your Cranky all the time, she just wants you to go away for a while so she can retain some sanity. LOL, heres to hoping you catch all you want on this trip to make up for the last one as well. Don't forget the "topwater Buzzbait bite back in Sugar by the ramp", LOL LOL LOL LOL, just ask Embry, he will tell you when it is ON.

I am ready to go. Just waiting to see what this massive downpour we are supposed to get does to the water. I hope that topwater bite is on - I will throw a buzzbait or sammy all day long if I am having any luck. George will throw the red-eye shad all day long again, and Im sure spank me in catches. George - I will give you a call in the next couple of days to work out some details. Embry may not be able to fish. He may be exhausted after taking in all the info from Dave's class. I think I took about 6 pages of notes, I still look them over occassionally.

I think my buddy Embrey is having a class with you Sunday........We're figuring logistics right now......but looks like we're coming down Saturday, and then I'm going to fish with Kevin on Sun while he's in class with you , and then we're going to pick him up and head to Sugar or somewhere for the evening bite, before we head home sunday........

I never though I'd STEAL from my Dale Hollow fund to fish ANYWHERE, but I guess this is a case where I should . Besides work is keeping me from fishing anywhere in November....at least until Friday after Thanksgiving....

A trip on ky lake............priceless, hopefully you can catch more than just massive schools of shad like the last trip. I took pics of the back of sugar bay and is shows 50 by 50 schools of shad! I need to find out how to post them
