Any recommendations on getting an eyelet repaired on a g-loomis rod in the Lexington area. It's the eyelet at the tip of the rod and the ceramic ring is missing. Any help would be appreciated.

You can send it back to loomis if you want to wait a few weeks and pay freight. But you can also take that rod to Backwaters or Anglers Outpost and The Reel Man, can pick it up and fix it for you.
He will put the same exact tip on that was there and you will hardly be able to tell it is isn't the original, if at all. He does a great job and I know many people that have taken their high end rods to him for this type of job and have been very pleased.
I took it to Backwaters and they happened to have a tip for it in the store. About 5 minutes and 4 bucks later, I walked out with it and it looks as good as new. Thanks again.
