im goin tomorrow also wanted to know water clarity and how much its up
fished there today and nothing didnt even get a bite. there was alot of boats there though. water is still up alot. Did anyone else fish there today and if so how did you do? I did horrible
not a bite?? thats brutal...i tried about everything except main lake points..i found shad up in some pockets but no largemouth around...caught hybrids and white bass around the shad. caught one lonely little largemouth in the middle of nowhere...someone had to have had a better day...too many boats for someone to not get a pattern
Steve there are no hybrids in Patoka. Stipers, white bass and yellow bass.not a bite?? thats brutal...i tried about everything except main lake points..i found shad up in some pockets but no largemouth around...caught hybrids and white bass around the shad. caught one lonely little largemouth in the middle of nowhere...someone had to have had a better day...too many boats for someone to not get a pattern
a couple of them looked an awful lot like a hybrid to me, but apparently i'm mistaken then. there were all whites then...either way, if i could go back and do over on saturday, i would have tried to cover as much ground as possible instead of working it a little slow like i did.

yes someone had to have a pattern because there were alot of boats there.... we put in at osborne and i would say there were atleast 20 bass boat trailers there
Fished Patoka today. Water was 54 degrees and very clear - 3 to 4 foot visibility. Good chop to the water with the steady wind. Caught 4 keepers but had to work for them. Nice day to be out as I was one of three boats on the water and it wasn't cold. Rain started late in the day and I headed out. Saw a lot of deer too.
Wife & I fished there last Saturday & Sunday and found some fish Saturday but they seemed to disappear Sunday. Only saw 5 boats all day Sunday - but like you said nice day to be on the water.Fished Patoka today. Water was 54 degrees and very clear - 3 to 4 foot visibility. sat and sunday sucked...
Fished Patoka again today. Morning water temp was 49 and I knew I was in trouble with the high skies. Temp eventually warmed up to the 54 range but I struggled, only catching 4 shorties. Beautiful day to be out though. Saw two eagles and more deer. Heard a lot of shots today. Must have been a good day to be a deer hunter. Water still way up and super clear.
i heard today the lake has turned over twice this week...
