Loosen the fill cap on the satellite reservoir and it will start to fill the reservoir up, you do this until the oil is running out of fill cap then close the cap.

This works best if you can tilt boat trailer so that fill cap is highest point so you can get rid of all the air. I know this does not answer your question as to how much oil should it be burning but this needs to be done. If the pump is working properly the satellite reservoir will fill up rather quickly when you take cap off while running.
Thanks Justin,....I tried that on the water and because there wasn't any left in the main tank the satellite reservoir sucked air. It sounded as if was under pressure. SO I will bleed the lines once I refill. Thanks for that. I would hate to get it down on the ramp and it won't start, or I get that alarm again, or worse, it isn't feeding the engine oil because of the lack of pressure....So if there is no pressure and I just refill, what will it do?
