Take a buddy and you both will learn a lot. I never had the "class" version but did get the same information on a guide trip with Dave a few years back and I use the information pretty much every trip I go fishing. Really help you eliminate 90% of "less productive" water on every trip. You can take a map of any river system shad forage based lake, like Ky Lake, Barkley, Rough, Nolin, Barren River and such and figure out which 10% of the water to start your fishing trip ANY SEASON OF THE YEAR. This will give you a staring point and you my have to adjust to a secondary point, hump, flat or such to find the fish based on conditions but you won't be very far from your original starting spot if you use what Dave teaches you. Really comes in handy, especially when fish are transitioning from deep to shallow or shallow to deep. Good Luck, money well spent
