What to expect

I've been in Indianapolis for the past couple months working. I had a great time and even got to fish a little. But now Im back for a couple weeks and I'll be fishing tomorrow. Can anybody fill me in on what to expect with the bass? Just if you've fished lately around south eastern KY, it would help to know approx. water temps and how the fishing has been lately.

Hey andy...did you do any good here in Indiana??? Where did you fish?? Ever try the White River like you talked about?

I never did get to try the river. We started out on the biggest lake at Atteberry (sp?), "Pisgah Lake", that was a really cool place to fish but the place just gets so much pressure we struggled to catch any size there. I also fished Eagle Creek but didnt care much for it. But I did fish one of the best lakes I have ever been on, Geist. That lake is incredible. On a freind and mines first day on the lake we had right at 18lbs for our five best. We just pounded the hydrilla and had a blast. Once we found Geist we never considered fishing elsewhere. I was really surprised by the size of the fish we caught there consistently. This spring we have to go back and finish the job- we had to leave because they wouldnt let us tuck point after the lows started running below 40 degrees- but when we go back Im going to try and get involved in some of the local tournaments on that lake. It will make being away from my home lakes during the spawn a bit more tollerable
