Anyone going to Barren this weekend?

Going down to the lake house as i haven't been in a while and taking some guys down to do some fishing. Couple boats are going crappie fishing and I'm going bass fishing. Anyone have any good reports that seem to be holding up. I noticed that the lake is only down one foot which is good so that we can use my docks but usually by now its down 13-16 feet at this time. If anyone is down in the area and fishing stop and say hello or come on over and play some cards at night and drink some beverages around the campfire.

Hey Diz, I am on the opposite side of the lake from the narrows heading up Skaggs Creek. By boat from the narrows its about three minutes but driving you have to go all the way around and turns into like 25minutes. Going down 31E turn on 252 like your heading to Beaver Creek or the dam, go a few miles up and turn left on 255 (Rocky Hill Store). I am back in there couple miles in a circle called Happy Landing. Water we are the cove on left heading towards beaver creek from narrows where the power lines run over top (first set)

I've established a very productive pattern the last few days....verticle structure in a little deeper water around secondary points have been the ticket. Read my report threads for more info.

I'll be there on Saturday with the wife and daughter onboard. We'll be fishing around the narrows and probably up into Skaggs. If you see a white with blue striped boat with a big black outboard on it and a big guy sitting on the front...that's me....say hi. Good luck!

I'll be in my Triton TR-21 with a 225 optimax. Boat is basically red with silver stripe. Stop by and say hey if your on the water.
