Hey Slipped, you forgot to mention that New Jersey and Virginia elected Republican Governors.Seems like everybody isn't happy with the present Communist Regime.

I love how the DEMS spin this BULLCRAP.

Face it the Obamunists are in trouble.............SERIOUS TROUBLE..........

They have the House, the Senate and the PREZ, and they cannot generate enough buzz to wipe each others BUTTS..............hahahahahahahahahhaha.

I'm glad that they are bumbling fools though.........Kinda makes Bush look like a genius.

Whats good about the new t.v.'s? Do they draw less current? Generate less heat? Require less energy to make? Not sure what you mean?
I should have said the concept of everyone using LED is catching on. Yes to your last sentence.

A governor is a figure head, nothing those 2 do will affect me or you. They cringe at public pressure just like Beshear did with the holiday tree.

    Re: 136 yrs!

Are the fish biting anywhere? The more I see post like this then I think I have the right idea. I AM NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE, HAVE NEVER REGISTERED TO VOTE, WILL NEVER REGISTER TO VOTE, DON'T CARE WHO IS IN CONTROL, THINK THEY ARE ALL CORRUPT AND WOTHLESS - NO MATTER THE PARTY, THINK IF IT WAS REALLY A DEMOCRACY THERE WOULD BE NO PARTIES AND POLITICIANS WOULD NOT VOTE DOWN PARTY LINES, THEN IT REALLY WOULD BE A DEMOCRACY, DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY TAXES, HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL SECURITY OR ANYTHING ELSE JUST FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT AND I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT SO WHY WORRY OVER IT, IF THEY TAKE 10%, 30% OR ALL OF MY PAYCHECK THEN THEY CAN HAVE IT AND I WILL DO THE BEST I CAN WITH WHAT IS LEFT. JUST MY OPINION BUT HAVE TOO MANY OTHER THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT TO THINK ABOUT USELESS POLITICIANS IN WASHINGTON. PERSONALLY, I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD BE ELEGIBLE FOR ANY POLITICAL OFFICE UNTIL YOU HAVE WORKED IN A REAL JOB MAKING A REAL PAYCHECK LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS, THEN YOU WILL REALLY KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN AMERICA TODAY AND WILL HAVE A BETTER INSIGHT TO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. THESE MORANS WHO ARE LIFELONG POLITICIANS THAT HAVE NEVER HELD A REAL JOB OR LIVED PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS LIKE TO BE MIDDLE CLASS, LOWER CLASS OR ANY CLASS EXCEPT THE KIND THEY ARE IN TAKING HANDOUTS, MONEY UNDER THE TABLE AND THEIR "PAY" THAT IS FROM TAXPAYERS IN THE FIRST PLACE. PUT SOME OF THESE GUYS IN CONGRESS AND THE HOUSE IN OUR SHOES FOR ONE MONTH AND THESE GUYS WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. PAY THIS BILL, HOLD THAT BILL, CAN'T GO FISHING THAT EXTRA COUPLE OF DAYS BECAUSE OF THE MONEY, LOOK FOR THIS ON SALE, BUY THAT ON SALE, DON'T BUY THAT BECAUSE CHRISTMAS IS COMING UP OR THE ELECTRIC BILL IS DUE, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, MORANS ALL OF THEM FROM THE GUY THAT IS OUT TRYING TO RECRUIT VOTES FOR SOME PUBLIC OFFICE TO THE SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN. HAVE NEVER VOTED, WILL NEVER VOTE AND CONTINUE TO BEND OVER AND TAKE IT WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE BECAUSE NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT. AS LONG AS MONEY IS INVOLVED, GREED IS INVOLVED AND WHEN GREED IS INVOLVED WHEN IS ENOUGH AN ENOUGH. AS LONG AS BIG CORPORATE, LITTLE CORPORATE, AND ALL CORPORATE IN BETWEEN ARE "SPONSORING" OUR "PUBLICLY ELECTED OFFICIALS" WITH ALL THEIR "DONATIONS" THEN MONEY IS INVOLVED AND SO WILL GREED. IF I HAD ANOTHER $200 IN MY WALLET, I WOULD WANT ANOTHER $200, IF I CATCH A 6 POUNDER THEN I WOULD WANT A 7 POUNDER, IF I CATCH 100 TODAY THEN I WANT 101 TOMORROW, GREED IS EVERYWHERE. I CAN TAKE IT, SO BRING ON ALL THE COMMENTS AGAINST WHAT I SAY BECAUSE I KNOW THEY ARE COMING BUT JUST REMEMBER YOUR FREEDOM TO VOTE IS MY SAME FREEDOM TO NOT VOTE.

    Re: 136 yrs!

I felt the same way before (15 years ago) but now my personal feeling is that it's a procedure that is very important and should be encouraged to participate in. Sure things will never be perfect but at least I feel like I was in the game and helped decide who won or lost. Look what has happened this time! A congress who is about as sorry as anything in History and POTUS who is a post turtle. To each his own.....

    Re: 136 yrs!

Those who say your vote doesn't count.......

    * The senate majority was decided by the Minnesota Senate race last year. That race was won by 300 votes. Had 300 more republicans or center right moderates voted, this BULLCRAP healthcare bill, or energy bill, or a ton of others would NEVER make it to the floor.

    * Bush won by 500 votes in Florida in 2000......Florida pushed him over the EC number required to win the presidency........a PRESIDENT was elected on 500 votes.

    So....yea, your vote DOES count........

But when they are ALL crooks, if the left hook does not get you the right cross will. Take you pick, just one opinion and it probably is the wrong opinion but at least it is MY opinion. I don't follow politics and NEVER will but to hear my dad, uncle and others in my family that do talk about it don't have enough brain cells left to follow these idiots. If you TRULY wanted to make it a Democracy where votes counted then start in the House and Congress, get rid of the party lines, make the votes 100% blind, as to nobody will be criticized for voting yes or no and then lets see what happens. GREED and PEER PRESSURE, add those 2 together and what do you get, "Squeeky wheel gets the grease, He who yells the loudest gets the attention", seem to me if I was in Congress or the House and I was elected "by the people for the people" then I need to vote to the best interest of "the people". Just because I am a Democrat and "Bob" is a Democrat and "Bob" tells me to vote a certain way, does not mean I have to vote this way but because "Bob" will yell the loudest and everyone will know that I voted differently from my "Party" then I will go along with the crowd and do what my "Party" wants but not necessarily is what is right for "the people". There should be 50 different opinions when they bring a topic to the floor for a vote and all of these should all be heard and then let everyone vote to however they want to on the topic privately to however they feel is best for "the people that elected them to office". Too much greed, peer pressure, corporate pressure, ....... and others that sway the votes of the people that were elected to do what is best for the people. Done with this topic for me, you all can have the rest.
