crappie help at rough river

Went to rough today and spider rigged with minnows for crappie and didn't have any luck. I was wondering if i should have been fishing in the stickups with slip floats instead? Any info on fishing there this time of the year will be appreciated. I did hook up with a 17" hybrid though in the northfork area. thanks in advance for any help!!!!!!!!

Assuming the water I'd still up high. With the fluctuating water levels recently it's been tough down there. Slayed um a couple weeks ago and last weekend only caught 6

Have the creeks at Rough cleared up? Last Saturday some of them were really muddy. Thinking about taking my 12 year old with me there Saturday but don't want to waste a trip again.
