Put in at helms this am brrr. Floated down stream beatin the banks with crank baits and jigs. 11000 gallons current flat and slow. Where we found swift current trout hittin deep and hard. Floated to Winfreys rock water temp 62. ran up to dam temp 62. Thats from my partners eagle cuda depth finder. Fishin great to slow at times. Fish scattered. caught about 30 trout between two of us. Had 6 slot browns no slot bows. Brought home some nice skillet trout. Had some really big trailers today more than normal of that size. The kind you dream about. had their attention just wouldnt hit. You could see em smile as they turned away. Those big boys are smart indeed!
