Well past four times i've been to cedar i have thrown everything in my arsenal and have blanked all four times. I have come to the conclusion that cedar is over fished. When i got to the ramp today it was packet out and there were only a couple spots left to park. I talked to some guys on the ramp and at the bait shop and they all said that no one has been catching anything. But surprisingly the owner of cedar creek lake outfitters said that the crappie have been biting at night still. But anyway thats just my opinion with cedar, i mean its still a great lake to fish i just think its way over fished. It seems like every bank i pulled up to today there were at least two boats on it if not more. The lake conditions are... Temp. around 55-58 depending where you are. The water is clear on the main lake but up in the coves it starts getting merky and muddy.
If your planning on going soon good luck to you, you'll need it.

. I used to love that lake, but I have to take the stance that everyone else in this post is taking: the pressure makes it an absolute dump. I used to try and go every chance when my father-in-law was willing to go but now I would rather sit at home, fish farm ponds, or fish elsewhere. To me, the money put in for the extra gas, mileage, and time is well worth not having to deal with Cedar Creek and the ignorance that takes place there.
