....and very wrong. Not everyone can serve and not everyone should serve. The young handicapped person longs to serve but he can't get out of the wheelchair. HE'S NOT A COWARD. The young mother with a new baby should not serve. SHE'S NOT A COWARD, SHE IS A MOTHER. The son of a sick widow doesn't need to serve, he is already doing everything he can just feed and care for his mother. HE IS NOT A COWARD.

I'll bet you a dollar Slippedcork is calling people a coward because he thinks it makes him sound tough and brave. I wonder if he has ever been outside the United States. He is probably one of those people that calls others a "Communist" and doesn't even know what communism is or how it started. I think I need to vomit.

I served 8 years,but thats what makes us so great of a country.You get to chose to serve or not,that doesnt make one that doesnt a coward.But we do need to fix our problem on who we let in our armed services.Dont think it will be anytime soon with our current person in office.He is a joke.

I served 4 years in the military, and I'm never short for an opinion.

We are giving this country away to political correctness. Bottom line is MUSLIMs have been killing innocent people up since the 1960's. Consistently, not just a few isolated incidents.

This Ft. Hood killer might as well have had a sign on his back, but nobody would stand up and do anything about him because it would cost them dearly to do so. The liberals, the news media, Patrick (nothing against you bud, I'm just saying), and his ilk have made political incorrectness a worse crime than anything else.

Fact: 99 percent of terrorists world wide are Muslims. The first picture that comes to mind when you think of a terrorist is a middle eastern male. You say that isn't true you're a liar.

Fact: The Islamic/Muslim faith for whatever reason spawns hundreds of thousands of people who believe they're justified in killing anyone who doesn't prescribe to their religious beliefs. In fact they're martyrs with virgins waiting for them in heaven if they kill themselves and take 'infidels' with them.

Fact: If you don't treat Muslims with suspicion you're a fool.

Preach tolerance all you want, but facts are facts.

GrandFather........Dad's side........WWII, Korea.....20 year man.

Dad.....Korea, VietNam 2 tours.......battle field commission first tour.......30 year man.....TUNNEL RAT when he was there.

Uncle Don.......Korea, VietNam.........30 year Navy.......Retired as Commander, SUBS......Chased Russians all over the WORLD......great stories.

Uncle Paul......Stationed in Alaska during VietNam......got LUCKY.
Uncle Jim.......VietNam........nearly came home in a body bag......actually spent 8 hours in one......LONG STORY..........Now, a PROUD disabled vet.

Uncle Larry....Dad's SIDE..........20 year man....ARMY.
Uncle Bill.......Dad's SIDE..........20 year man......Marines.

Younger Brother Tony............6 years.......ARMY.
