trolling motor help

motorguide, almost 3 yrs old, 71lbs thrust, working patoka sunday, came around a point and took my foot off the pedal and made several cast. Then pushed the pedal and nothing. It will run in all 5 speeds on rabbit and in 3rd 4th and 5th turtle, but nothing in 1 and 2 turtle. Any suggestions?

sounds like the speed sensor went out. I had a MinnKota Maxxum do this & Robbie Sargent fixed it for me.

Took mine to Seagent Marine, it was doing the same thing. He took care of mine, working better then ever now.

Don't know where your located, but Backwaters in Lexington has a tolling motor service pickup twice a week. He fixed me up last month and did a great job for a reasonable price.

The best service i know is a20 in clarksville in. I have been involved with them personally and have taken a friend there and the service was great.
